Domain trading

Domain trading is the buying and selling of domain names. It happens via marketplaces, auctions or direct sale. Pricing depends on keyword, extension, history and demand.

How it differs: internal marketplaces (e.g. Domex with fixed prices) differ from public markets with free pricing (e.g. ODM).

Example: an investment domain is offered at a fixed price on a marketplace.
