Domain parking

Domain parking means setting up a ready-made page for an unused domain — for example with ads, product recommendations or a sales note — to generate clicks, revenue or prospective buyers.

How it differs: parking is an interim use; it does not replace a real web project.

Example: a held domain shows a parking page with a sales banner instead of an empty page.
